Dr. Marie M. Daly Award
Call for Nominations

Dr. Marie Maynard Daly, the first African American woman to earn a Ph.D. in Chemistry, was honored with an ACS National Historic Chemical Landmark at her alma mater, Columbia University, on May 19. 2023. 

The New York ACS is calling for nominations for the inaugural Dr. Marie M. Daly Award whose purpose is to honor excellence in chemists and chemical engineers from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups.  Nominees need to be active professionals in the United State or the United States Territories who are members of the American Chemical Society in good standing.  Nominations due June 2, 2025.
