2026 National Chemistry Week
The New York ACS will celebrate National Chemistry Week 2026 and its theme of 'Chemistry: Under Construction' on October 18, 2026. The New York ACS is collaborating with PepsiCo and the New York Hall of Science to celebrate National Chemistry Week and spread the importance of STEM in our communities. We continue to partner to increase awareness of STEM and create meaningful experience and educational opportunities within the communities and at NYSCI.
National Chemistry Week 2023
The New York ACS and PepsiCo at the New York Hall of Science celebrated 'The Healing Power of Chemistry' on Sunday October 15th during National Chemistry Week 2023.
The New York ACS virtual celebration of National Chemistry Week was selected as the winner of the ChemLuminary Award for Outstanding Virtual Event for National Chemistry Week. Congrats to all the volunteers that make this event great every year.
New York Hall of Science
The New York Local Section is proud to celebrate our decades-long collaboration with the New York Hall of Science. Our work has impacted over 25,000 children through hands-on science experimentation during National Chemistry Weeks. This collaboration was recognized with the 2017 Partners for Progress and Prosperity Regional Award. Thanks to NYSci for all you do !
