Organic Chemistry Topical Group
The Organic Topical Group collaborates with the Chemical Biology Discussion Group (CBDG) of The New York Academy of Sciences (NYAS) to promote interactions at the interface of organic chemistry and biology. The Organic Chemistry Topical Group brings together chemists and biologists interested in discussing the latest breakthroughs across the breadth of the field.  Recent topics have included natural products, phase separation, chemical neuroscience, protein engieneering, and drug discovery.  The annual year-end meeting in May features keynote lectures from eminent academic and industrial scientists, student presentations by local graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, and a vibrant poster session that brings together scientists from across the Tri-state area.

Inquiries should be addressed to the topical group co-Chairs Dr. Derek S. Tan and  Dr. Paramjit Arora
